During the Smile Consult at 3D Tandarts, we discuss your wishes and use a 3D scan and photographs to show you the available options. The consultation is non-binding, and our practice is located directly at Schiedam Centrum station.
What is Digital Smile Planning (smile design)?
In Digital Smile Planning, we combine an intraoral scan (3D scan of your teeth) with photos of your face and teeth. Based on this, the dentist discusses your wishes, the proportions of your face and teeth, and the possibilities. A digital design shows what a possible result might look like. It is a tool for discussion and planning, not a guarantee of a specific outcome.

The Smile Consult is a focused first appointment, without obligation and also possible if you are not a regular patient with us.

Depending on your situation, the plan may consist of:

Often a combination is useful. We also look at the health of your teeth and gums, so that the plan is safe and sustainable.

You pay the rate of an incidental consultation (NZa code C003, € 28.51). Whether part is reimbursed depends on your supplementary dental insurance. Any costs for Digital Smile Planning or additional examination will be discussed during the consultation.
Does it hurt?
No, a 3D scan is quick and comfortable.
Am I obliged to start a treatment?
No, the Smile Consult is non-binding.
Can I come without being registered?
Yes, the Smile Consult is a low-threshold first appointment.
Is the digital design exactly the final result?
No. It is a tool to discuss the possibilities. The final result depends on your teeth and the chosen treatment.
